The Introduction to New Economies Programme (PINE) is a space co-created with global references and Latin American perspectives. This unique virtual diploma in Spanish aims to explore new ways of inhabiting the planet and fostering economic systems that respect life in all its form, as it helps individuals recognize themselves as agents of change in any field. It offers a practical and fresh perspective on New Economies directly from leaders, activists and academics that champion alternative models, such as: the Economy for the Common Good (ECG), the Doughnut Economy, Degrowth, B Corps, Regenerative Economy, Circular Economy, Ethical Banking, Local Economies, Feminist Economy, Ancestral Wisdom and Good Living, among others.

The third edition of this diploma, certified by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of National University of Córdoba, Argentina and endorsed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), ran from March to July 2023, resulting in the second edition of their magazine “Cosecha” (Harvest, in English). This collaborative publication on New Economies was created by more than 100 authors to provide a unique take on the co-creation of more sustainable, humane, resilient and fair economies.

ECG at PINE 2023

The 4th class, dedicated to the ECG, was led by founder Christian Felber and Luciana Cornaglia, President of the Argentinian Local Chapter and the Latin American Continental Chapter (CCAL). On this occassion, Luciana reviewed the fundamental theoretical values of the ECG movement and model the 20 common good themes in the Matrix, as well as other tools, such as the Common Good Product (CGP). For his part, Christian focused the topic of money as a public good, and the idea of Sovereign Democracy.
